Rýchle fakty: Múzeum uchováva viac ako 4 000 diel v rozľahlej budove zo sovietskej éry, ktorá bola pôvodne postavená ako múzeum revolúcie. Jeho zbierka siaha od litovskej avantgardy až po medzinárodné hviezdy, ako sú Andy Warhol a Jasper Johns.

Zaujímavosti: Na najvyššom poschodí ponára obrovské vitrážové okno od litovského umelca Kazysa Morkūnasa schodisko do premenlivého jantárového svetla počas celého dňa. Stála expozícia zahŕňa aj zriedka videný hologramový portrét Jonasa Mekasa, legendárneho avantgardného režiséra, ktorý ožije, keď okolo neho prejdete.
