Rýchle fakty: Pirate Fermín Mundaca built this sprawling estate in the 1860s to impress a local woman known as La Trigueña, who never returned his affection. The abandoned ruins now sprawl over 20 acres of jungle, with a grand archway, a former slave market, and a zoo-like enclosure that once held exotic animals.
