Rýchle fakty: Štyri masívne kamenné oblúky sa týčia do výšky 11 metrov, vytesané z ružovej žuly dopravenej zo vzdialenosti 40 kilometrov. Pamätník pripomína bitku pri Juníne z roku 1824, jeden z posledných konfliktov peruánskej vojny za nezávislosť od Španielska.
Zaujímavosti: Na rozdiel od okázalejších pamätníkov v iných andských mestách je tento vyrobený z obrovských blokov ružovej žuly, ktoré pri západe slnka žiaria oranžovou farbou. Miestni sa tu každý večer schádzajú pri improvizovaných stánkoch s pouličným jedlom a hrajú domino, čo z neho robí živý komunitný priestor, nie statický pamätník.
