Rýchle fakty: Umiestnená v 16. storočnom konvente, kolekcia mapuje vyše 500 rokov histórie výroby dlaždíc. Monumentálny 36-metrový panoramatický výjav Lisabonu pred zemetrasením je vytvorený z 1 300 samostatných azulejových panelov.
Zaujímavosti: Vstúpte do konventného kostola a pozrite sa hore: steny sa trblietajú pozlátenými rezbami a modro-bielymi dlaždicami, ktoré stúpajú 20 metrov k stropu. Samotný kláštor je obklopený dlaždicovým vlysom zo 17. storočia zobrazujúcim pastierske výjavy, kde každý panel rozpráva malý vizuálny príbeh pozdĺž 30 metrov klenutého chodníka.
