Rýchle fakty: Toto múzeum, umiestnené v rozsiahlom pevnostnom komplexe z 18. storočia, uchováva vyše 300 000 artefaktov od praveku až po druhú svetovú vojnu. Medzi jeho pokladmi nájdete stredoveké rytierske brnenia, zbrane z osmanskej éry a osobné veci srbskej kráľovskej rodiny.

Zaujímavosti: Jedným z najpôsobivejších exponátov je pôvodná brána z obliehania Belehradu v roku 1456, ktorá dodnes nesie hlboké jazvy po zásahoch delových gúľ a sekoch mečov. Prstami môžete doslova prejsť po tých istých ryhách, ktoré vyryli osmanské delové gule pred takmer 600 rokmi.
