Rýchle fakty: Táto úzka roklina vo vnútrozemí Fuerteventury, vyhĺbená prívalovými povodňami počas tisícročí, miestami dosahuje hĺbku vyše 100 metrov. - Park at the dirt lot near the main road and follow the dry riverbed upstream, there are no official signs marking the entrance.
- Visit after a rainy spell to see the canyon at its most dramatic with flowing water and revived plant life.
- Arrive early in the morning to have the entire canyon to yourself, as tour groups tend to show up around mid-morning.
