Rýchle fakty: Úchvatná ležiaca zlatá socha meria 46 metrov na dĺžku a 15 metrov na výšku, pričom 108 detailne vykladaných scén z perlete zdobí chodidlá. Areál ukrýva viac než tisíc sošiek Budhu a funguje aj ako uznávaná škola tradičnej thajskej masáže, kde návštevníci môžu sledovať alebo vyskúšať liečebné techniky.
Zaujímavosti: Keď vstúpiš do areálu, udrie 46 metrov dlhá zlatá socha vysoká 15 metrov, s nohami vykladanými perleťou a so 108 vyobrazeniami šťastných symbolov na podrážkach. Popri chodníkoch ležia 108 mosadzných misiek, do ktorých ľudia sypú mince, aby získali zásluhy, a v zadných sálach sa nachádza škola tradičnej thajskej masáže, kde cítiš teplý bylinný olej a šuchot látky pri práci masérov.

4.5Arrived at 8am with almost no line. 200 THB entry was worth it for the Reclining Buddha and murals, avoid the touristy stalls.
Came at 3pm and it was packed with tour groups, ticket line took 30 minutes. 200 THB felt steep, the Reclining Buddha is stunning but bring patience.
