Rýchle fakty: Každý večer sa most rozžiari striedavo v siedmich farbách, čo denne priláka vyše 10 tisíc návštevníkov na prechádzku po jeho 402 metroch. Pod jeho oblúkmi preplávajú desiatky výletných lodí, ktoré ponúkajú výhľad na osvetlené mesto z rieky Hương.
Zaujímavosti: Počas vietnamskej vojny bol most dvakrát vybombardovaný a zakaždým ho miestni obyvatelia vlastnými rukami znovu postavili z pôvodných materiálov vytiahnutých z rieky. V noci sa na moste stretávajú mladé páry, aby si za svitu farebných svetiel dali prvý bozk - miestni tomu hovoria „most zamilovaných“.

- Photographers should arrive at 6:30 PM to capture the blue hour and the first lighting of the bridge in one shot.
- Instead of walking on the bridge, sit in the tea house on the left bank. From there you have the whole bridge in perspective and the crowds are not pushing you.
- Avoid Saturday evenings, when the bridge is most crowded with locals and tourists.
- Take a light jacket even in summer. In the evening a pleasant cool wind blows from the river.
