Weather was brutal in the afternoon heat, bring a hat. Wasn't expecting the crowds at Angkor Wat, early mornings are best if you want peace.
Siem Reap has such a chill vibe, great street food everywhere but it got super hot by midday in April. Two full days felt just right for temple hopping.
Skip the tuk tuk scams and agree on a flat rate before you ride anywhere, it saves so much hassle and confusion.
Loved how cheap everything was, but honestly the tuk tuk drivers can get pushy. If you’re chill about it, it’s an amazing place to unwind.
Great mix of culture and food, but I wished I stayed longer to see more local villages. Four days gave me a good balance of temples and relaxation.
