About
Hızlı bilgiler: Gotik vitraylar içeriye renkli bir yağmur gibi düşüyor, gün ışığı pencerelerdeki ince detayları canlandırıyor. Ziyaretçiler, devasa organın titreşimlerini hissederken ve kraliyet mezarlarının taş işçiliğinde saklı tarihsel hikâyeleri keşfederken etkileniyor.
Öne çıkanlar: Gotik katedralin inşası 1344'te başladı, 1929'da tamamlandı; içeride yürürken taşların soğuk dokunuşunu, mumların sarı ışığını ve 600 yıla yakın tarihin ağır sessizliğini aynı anda hissediyorsunuz. Aziz Václav Şapeli'ndeki yarı değerli taş süslemeler ve ince altın kaplamalar mum ışığında mavi-yeşil parıltılar saçar, rehberler tacın nadiren sergilendiği korumalı bir muhafaza odasından bahsederken kraliyet mezarlarına ilişkin fısıltılı efsaneleri anlatırlar.
Insider tips
- Dress respectfully, cover knees and shoulders when attending services, since the cathedral is an active church.
- Buy Prague Castle tickets online and head straight to the cathedral at opening to skip long queues later in the day.
- Climb the South Tower for sweeping city views, allow extra fee and expect narrow stairs and limited accessibility.
- Photograph the façade from the castle courtyard and capture stained glass from the nave in mid-late afternoon when colors are warm.

4.5Visited after lunch and it was packed. Entry felt pricey, the chapels are lovely but the long lines and limited seating made it tiring.
Arrived at 8:15am and beat the main crowds. The interior is breathtaking, the tower view was worth the extra fee and the audio guide helped.
