Buy tickets for the ferry to Helsingør online in advance to skip long lines, especially on weekends. It saved me an hour waiting!
Weather was a bit rainy when I visited, so pack a light rain jacket. Still, the cozy cafes made it a pleasant stay even if the sun didn’t show much.
The castle is cool but expect lots of tourists, especially in summer. The town itself feels small but friendly, just wish there were more budget food options.
Loved the peaceful harbor views and quiet streets. Not many crowds midweek, a great spot if you want to chill away from busy cities.
