Hızlı bilgiler: Perched on a rocky cliff 200 meters above the Gulf of Castellammare, this sanctuary offers sweeping views of the coastline below. Its name comes from a local legend about a farmer who found a painted tile of the Madonna while plowing his fields in the 1500s.

Step inside during the September feast and you will find the entire town climbing the steep path by candlelight at midnight, carrying a heavy wooden statue of the Madonna through the darkness.
