Hızlı bilgiler: A narrow gorge called the Siq stretches about 1.2 kilometers, its sandstone walls streaked in rose, coral and ochre that suddenly reveal a monumental carved façade at the end. Over 800 rock-cut tombs and carved facades scatter across the cliffs, evidence of a bustling trade crossroads that connected Arabia, Egypt and the Levant.
