Hızlı bilgiler: White sand stretches nearly 2 kilometers along the western coast of Malapascua Island, with water so clear you can spot starfish from shore. Coconut trees lean over the shoreline, casting afternoon shadows across the handful of bamboo cottages and beachfront bars.

• Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a rash guard, as the shallow reef just offshore makes for excellent snorkeling and the tropical sun is intense.
• Visit during a new moon for incredible bioluminescent plankton that lights up the water like stars when you splash at night.
