Hızlı bilgiler: Psychologist Samuel West founded this museum to explore why we love cheese but squirm at fermented herring. Over 80 edible exhibits from around the world are on display, and visitors can actually smell and taste many of them.
Öne çıkanlar: A glass case holds surströmming, Sweden's famously fermented herring, which is so pungent that airlines have banned it from cargo holds. You can crack open a real tin during the daily smell challenge and watch fellow visitors gag, laugh, or curiously take a second whiff.

- Skip the gift shop until after you eat, buying a durian candy on a full stomach hits different.
- Head straight to the back wall where the daily smell challenge takes place around 11 AM and 2 PM.
- Bring a water bottle to cleanse your palate between tasting items, the tap water in Malmö is excellent.
- Go with a friend and take turns blindfolding each other for the taste test, guessing what you are eating doubles the fun.
