- Go right when it opens at 8 AM to have the bridge almost to yourself before the tour buses arrive around 10 AM.
- The best photo is from the small viewing platform on the far side, not from the bridge itself, where you can capture the whole span against the canyon.
- Skip the bridge if it's been raining heavily: the access path gets slippery and the mist can completely obscure the view.
- Bring a light jacket even in summer, as the wind through the canyon picks up intensity halfway across.
