Bardakçı Beach
Ziyaret için en iyi zaman
Arrive by 9:00 AM on weekdays to claim a front-row sun lounger before the crowd rolls in. Late afternoon (4:00-6:00 PM) offers the most stunning light for swimming and photos as the castle catches golden hour.
Bütçe ipuçları
Sun loungers and parasols cost around 50-80 Turkish Lira per set (2024 rates). Bring your own towel and snacks to avoid beach club markups on food and drinks, and fill up on water from the public tap near the parking area.

Hakkında
Hızlı bilgiler: Bardakçı Beach sits on a sheltered inlet just west of Bodrum's castle, with water so clear you can spot sea turtles bobbing up for air by the sun loungers. The beach gets its name from the glassblowers who once worked along this shore, and traces of that craft still appear in local glass workshops nearby.
Öne çıkanlar: At sunset, the water turns a shade of turquoise that seems almost electric, and the castle lights reflect across the surface like scattered jewels. You can wade out 30 meters and still be only waist-deep, feeling the fine sand shift under your feet while fishing boats bob quietly at anchor.
İçeriden ipuçları
- Walk to the far left end of the beach where locals set up on the rocky patches away from the lounger crowds for a free swim spot.
- The beach gets packed after 11:00 AM in July and August, so either come early or grab lunch at Kocadon Restaurant up the hill for a breezy view.
- Wear water shoes: the seabed near the shore has a few scattered pebbles before the sand starts.
- Snap your photo of the castle from the wooden jetty halfway down the beach where the reflection is most symmetrical.
