Hızlı bilgiler: Karmaşada 1.500'den fazla nadir el yazması bulunan bir kütüphane ve yüzyıllarca faal kalmış bir hastane bulunur. Dört minaresi 10 balkon taşır, bu nadir tasarım Osmanlı geleneğinde sadece anıtsal camilere özgüdür.
Öne çıkanlar: Caminin devasa kubbesi 27,5 metre genişliğinde olup sadece dört büyük sütunla desteklenir, etkileyici bir açık iç mekan yaratır. Güneş ışığı renkli vitray pencerelerden süzülerek öğle namazlarında mermer zeminlere desenler yansıtır.
