Hızlı bilgiler: The Great Hall's 15-meter-high hammerbeam roof is one of the largest unsupported medieval-style wooden ceilings in Britain. Fourteen statues of English monarchs line the exterior, starting with William the Conqueror and ending with Queen Victoria.
Öne çıkanlar: Look for the tiny carved rats hidden throughout the woodwork. Legend says the medieval architect grew frustrated with his client and secretly carved rats into the beams as a silent protest, and over 20 have been discovered so far.
