Not what I expected - super touristy and pricey. Great for skiing but summer felt kinda dull if you’re not outdoorsy. Crowds were annoying too.
The mountain views are stunning, weather was perfect for hiking. The village gets crowded mid-day so early mornings are best. Definitely a great spot for a chill getaway.
Avoid the restaurants right on the main village road, walk a couple blocks for cheaper and better meals.
Grab groceries for picnic lunches instead of eating out all the time. The grocery stores are well stocked and prices better than the village shops.
Food was surprisingly good, fresh and varied. The weather was a bit unpredictable, brought rain gear which helped. Stayed 3 nights and still wanted more.
