Highlights: Miners followed an icy draft in 1870, and mining engineer Eugen Ruffinyi uncovered a chamber whose entrance still exhales a sharp, cold breath that tingles skin on sunny days. Stone corridors open into a hall with a frozen cascade more than 25 meters long, where footsteps echo against blue-tinted ice and occasional drips sound like distant beads of rain.
