Buy a day pass for the bus system instead of single tickets if you plan to explore the city. Saves both time and a bit of money.
Weather was a bit unpredictable, but the fresh mountain air made up for it. Perfect for a 3-day getaway to unwind and explore.
Food was decent but a bit pricey for the quality. Loved the local sweets though! Definitely not a foodie mecca but enjoyable.
Skip the main square eateries for dinner. Walk a few blocks off center for cheaper and tastier Slovak meals from locals.
Stayed 4 days and still felt like there was more to see. The nature around is stunning, just beware of limited nightlife.
