Best time to visit

The time between 7 and 9 in the morning is the best because the light falls on the mosque during that time and the atmosphere is excellent for photography. Traveling during the winter months (November to March) is the most pleasant.

Budget tips

Entry here is completely free, no ticket is required. There is a small parking area nearby where there is also no charge for parking your vehicle.

About

Quick facts: This mosque is made of mud and stones and has four domes at different heights from one another. The roof of this roughly 500-year-old mosque has two small holes that allow natural light and air to circulate.

Highlights: The walls here are coated with cow dung and mud, which keeps the temperature inside cool during summers. Inside the mosque there is a small arched area where the imam used to stand, and above it, hand-carved floral designs are still clearly visible today.
