Food was incredible and cheap. We ate at local spots for under $2 a meal. Just be careful with water and ice.
Mixed feelings. The heritage buildings are cool but not well maintained. Weather was brutal in April. Bring a fan.
Honestly expected more. The silk is nice but the city itself feels kind of dusty and chaotic. Two days was enough.
Mango season is the only time to go. We went in June and the whole city smelled like ripe mangoes. Unreal.
The varendra research museum is small but worth an hour. Go early before it gets hot. Entry is basically free.
