Three separate viewing platforms, including one with a giant bronze compass rose, help visitors orient themselves across Nice's red-tiled rooftops and sparkling coastline.
Istaknuto: An ancient olive tree near the western edge is over 1,000 years old, its gnarled trunk scarred by lightning strikes and centuries of coastal winds.
