Kandovan Village
Najbolje vrijeme za posjetu
Spring and autumn are the most ideal times; in summer, although stone houses stay cool inside during the midday heat, it can be difficult to walk around outside. Photos are enchanting when the village is under fog in the early morning hours.
Savjeti za budžet
Entry to the village is free, only a small fee is charged for parking. Bring cash with you, as the village ladies who make homemade bread and honey do not accept cards.

O atrakciji
Insajderski savjeti
- A few houses serve as cafes, make sure to go inside and examine the ceiling and wall carvings up close.
- Walk along the path that leads to the top of the village, from above you will see how all the rock houses are connected to each other.
- Visitors usually get stuck in the lower section; as you go up to the upper neighborhoods, you can both escape the crowd and see more authentic houses.
- Do not forget to ask the villagers for freshly made kete or kömbe; these pastries baked in a stone oven are nothing like market products.
