Plan language: BosanskiThings to do in Liscannor, Ireland include exploring the Cliffs of Moher, which rise sharply over 200 meters above the Atlantic. At the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre, learn about the area's geology and wildlife. Don't miss O'Brien's Tower, providing stunning panoramic views along the coast.

Spectacular cliffs rising to 214 m above the Atlantic, offering dramatic coastal vistas. Walk cliff-top trails, watch puffins and see the Aran Islands on clear days.

Jaw-dropping Atlantic cliffs rise above crashing waves, offering dramatic coastal panoramas. Walk cliff-top paths, snap sea-stack photos, and spot puffins in summer.
Brze činjenice: Sheer sea cliffs soar to about 214 metres at the highest point, offering a dizzying edge where waves smash against rock and kittiwakes wheel above. More than a million people walk the cliff paths each year, and the visitor centre tucks much of its exhibition underground so the horizon stays uninterrupted.
Istaknuto: Salt spray smells of iodine and wet grass, and guillemots and razorbills often fly so close you can hear the whirr of their wings. A neat trick of the site is the turf-covered roof over the visitor hub, you descend through an underground gallery and suddenly step out onto a viewing ledge that runs right to the cliff’s edge.

Cliffs of Moher
Spectacular cliffs with raw Atlantic views and dramatic rock formations. Climb O'Brien's Tower for panoramic vistas, seabird colonies and sunset photos.

Cliffs of Moher
Dramatic sea cliffs with a medieval headland fort. Walk cliff paths with sweeping Atlantic views and close seabird colonies.
Zlatna svjetlost obasjava zapadni luk otprilike 20 minuta svake večeri, a ako stojite tamo gdje galebovi lebde na termalnim strujama, možete osjetiti kako vjetar pritiska vaše rebrima poput udarca bubnja. To je trenutak u kojem fotografi i pripovjedači ostaju duže.

Coastal harbour with colourful fishing boats and views toward the Cliffs of Moher. Walk the quay, spot seals, and capture golden-hour light over the breakwater.
Brze činjenice: A tiny working harbour still handles a handful of day boats and lobster pots, casting a rhythm of creaking ropes and damp canvas across the quay. Salt-laced air brings gull calls and the metal tang of the net menders, so you can almost time the tide by sound alone.
Istaknuto: A receding tide unmasks a patchwork of rock pools where twelve flatfish and clusters of razor shells glitter like coins, turning a short walk into a surprise micro-ecosystem. Three generations of one local family still ring an old brass bell, a 60-centimetre relic hauled up after a fierce 1989 gale, to signal boats in when fog slugs across the water.

Dramatic Atlantic views and golden sands offer a peaceful contrast to the Cliffs of Moher. Walk the crescent beach, explore rock pools and watch surfers.
Brze činjenice: Salt-laced gusts sweep across the pebbly strand where surfers can find nine-foot swells on the windiest days. Round, smooth stones click underfoot while local anglers still haul up pollack and mackerel from small wooden skiffs near the headland.
Istaknuto: A narrow tidal channel exposes palm-sized rock pools teeming with 12 different limpets and jewel-like anemones at low tide, a favorite spot where local storyteller Seamus O'Connor gathers kids to recite sea shanties. Moonlit evenings bring a salty hush and a quirky ritual: fishermen count their catch aloud, usually 20 to 30 small pollack, then sort lines by knot color passed down through three generations.

Powerful Atlantic surf and long golden sand make Lahinch a coastal playground. Walk the promenade, learn to surf, and watch dramatic light toward the Cliffs.
Brze činjenice: A broad sweep of golden sand meets powerful Atlantic swells, so strong rip currents mean lifeguards recommend swimming only between the flags. Local surf schools and cafés line the promenade, creating a lively mix of beginner lessons, kite flyers, and people strolling with salt-sweet air on sunny afternoons.
Istaknuto: Dawn sessions often produce glassy, shoulder-high waves that light up with orange reflections, making early paddles feel cinematic. At extreme low tides sandbanks can stretch up to 150 meters offshore, forming shallow, warm pools where kids hunt for crabs and longboarders practice smooth noserides.

World-class links golf with wild Atlantic views. Expect rolling dunes, challenging holes, and dramatic sea vistas.

Wild Atlantic views and ferries to the Aran Islands make Doolin Pier worth a stop. Watch boats, seabirds, and brief Cliffs of Moher glimpses from the quay.
Brze činjenice: Gulls wheel overhead and a tang of salt and seaweed fills the air as wooden planks creak underfoot, punctuated by the clack of ropes and the clang of metalwork. Small passenger boats and compact ferries shuttle visitors regularly, moving several hundred people on peak days while crews load crates, gear, and luggage along the low, utilitarian slip.
Istaknuto: Under a low sun the weathered timbers glow amber and spray throws glittering beads across jackets, a sensory postcard of sea-salt and diesel. Local skippers often run up to 10 crossings on a busy Saturday, and a quirky pocket-tradition sees crew tuck a sprig of fresh kelp under a cap for luck before the final evening run.

Limestone pavements and rare wildflowers on Ireland's wild west coast invite exploration. Walk karst paths, spot orchids and get sweeping sea views.

Avoid the restaurants by the cliff car park, walk five minutes inland for fresher food and fairer prices. Best light for photos at sunrise.
Quiet village, locals were lovely, but shops shut early and it gets touristy around the car park. Great as a day base.
Obožavao/la sam uspavani ugođaj Liscannora, svježu plodove mora u malim pubovima, dramatičnu obalu čak i u rosulji. Dvije noći bile su savršene.

Nema baš puno noćnog života, na kraju smo gledali kako oluja dolazi s mola. Prekrasni prizori, ali ponesite slojeve odjeće i strpljenje.
