Hurtige fakta: På tre bakker ligger den ældste del af byen, hvor mennesker har boet i over 8000 år. Her har thrakere, makedonere og romere efterladt deres spor, og i dag er det et populært samlingssted med en betagende udsigt.

Det mest overraskende er, at man midt i ruinerne kan nyde en kop kaffe og betragte solnedgangen, ligesom romerske senatorer gjorde for 2000 år siden.
