Weather was rough for us, very rainy in June. Plan accordingly or check forecasts to avoid being stuck inside a lot.
Spent 4 days and feels just right. Plenty of temples and local markets to explore without rushing, but don’t expect a bustling tourist scene.
The seafood is fresh but kinda pricey near the harbor. Walk a bit inland to find cheaper meals that still taste great.
Avoid the touristy eateries near the main pier. A small ramen shop two blocks back was way better and cheaper.
Hit the Sunday market early morning for the best deals on fresh produce and local snacks before it gets crowded.
