Quiet ponds mirror ornate statues and attract herons and colorful tanagers, while guided trails highlight medicinal plants still used in traditional remedies.

Beyond those palms a network of humid, mossy microclimates hosts centuries-old trees and hundreds of orchid and bromeliad species, so close you can smell sharp citrus and wet earth after a sudden rain.
