Kiired faktid: The Kapana district covers just a few blocks but packs in over 30 art galleries, craft studios, and creative workshops within its maze-like pedestrian streets. Originally a 19th-century merchant neighborhood, the area was officially reborn as Plovdiv's creative hub in 2014 and now hosts weekly street art festivals that draw thousands of locals and visitors.
