Mutianyu Great Wall
Parim aeg külastamiseks
Weekday mornings before 9:00 offer cooler temperatures and much smaller crowds. Late September to early November bring crisp air and colorful foliage for the best views.
Eelarvenõuanded
An entrance fee is required, and there are separate charges for the cable car, chairlift, and toboggan, so walking up saves money. Taking the public bus or the official tourist shuttle from Huairou instead of a private taxi can reduce transportation costs.

Teave
Kiired faktid: Climbing the stone steps, you can immediately feel the touch of the cold, hard stone surface and the low hum of the mountain wind in your ears. The changing height of the steps forces you to measure the rhythm with your footsteps. More than 20 beacon towers are arranged along the winding defense line. Looking at the rolling clouds and mist in the valley from afar, the depth of field and sense of layers are particularly strong when taking photos.
Esiletõstmised: As you walk up the stone steps to the 23rd beacon tower, you can smell the mixed aroma of pine needles and dead leaves. If you shift your position slightly, you can take in the entire valley and the curved line of the wall. Many people choose to descend by cable car or toboggan. While sliding down, you get a low-altitude view of the continuous, undulating brick wall and the dark forest belts. The sound of the wind rushing past your ears is more unforgettable than any picture.
Sisekujunduse nõuanded
- Wear sturdy shoes; expect uneven stone steps and steep inclines.
- Arrive before 9:00 AM or after 4:00 PM on weekdays to avoid peak tour groups and to capture photos in softer light.
- Take the cable car up and the toboggan down to save time and your knees, or skip the rides and walk the ramparts to save money.
- Climb a restored watchtower for the best panoramic photos, and bring a light jacket as it can be windy at the top.

Kas oled kuulnud tasuta jalutuskäikudest?
Pärast reisimist üle 30 riigi on üks asi, mida sooviksin, et keegi oleks mulle esimesest päevast peale öelnud, ja see muutis täielikult minu linnakogemust.
Tasuta jalutuskäigud. Jah, tõesti tasuta. Kaarti ei ole vaja. Püüniseid pole.

Giidid teenivad ainult jootraha, seega annavad nad parima
