Kiired faktid: Roughly 10,000 works fill this sprawling museum, from Egyptian mummies to a stunning run of French Impressionist canvases. One collector, brewery heir Carl Jacobsen, personally assembled the whole thing and opened it to the public so everyone could enjoy art free of charge.
