Teave
Kiired faktid: See kuuenda sikhi guru järgi nimetatud gurudvara tähistab kohta, kus Guru Hargobind Ji oma rännakutel kunagi puhkas. Kompleksis on suur sarovar (püha bassein), mille vee usuvad järgijad omavat tervendavaid omadusi.
Esiletõstmised: Erinevalt paljudest suurematest gurudvaradest on siin vaikne ja intiimne õhkkond, kus on hommikul kuulda pehmet palvelaulude kajamist üle sarovari. Algne pipalipuu, mille all guru väidetavalt istus, seisab endiselt õuel ja selle laiuvad oksad pakuvad külastajatele varju just nagu üle 400 aasta tagasi.
Sisekujunduse nõuanded
- Cover your head with a scarf or bandana before entering (scarves are available at the entrance if you forget).
- Visit the langar hall around noon when fresh rotis are coming hot off the griddle for the most authentic experience.
- The best photo spot is from the walkway overlooking the sarovar during golden hour, with the white marble dome reflected in the water.
- Shoes must be removed before entering the main hall, so wear slip-on footwear for convenience.
