Kiired faktid: Its slopes have been used as a Jewish burial ground for over 3,000 years, with an estimated 150,000 graves dotting the hillside. The mount offers a panoramic view of the Old City's golden dome and stone walls, a vista that has drawn pilgrims and conquerors for centuries.
Esiletõstmised: Every Palm Sunday, thousands of Christians reenact Jesus' triumphal entry by walking down the same ancient path from the summit, carrying palm fronds and singing hymns. - Arrive before 8 AM to have the panoramic view nearly to yourself before the bus convoys arrive.
