Opening time at 7:30 AM is the golden hour. Pandas are most active when they wake up from sleep, making for the best scenes of eating and playing. In summer, it is recommended to go early. Pandas usually hide in air-conditioned rooms for a nap at noon.

Admission is 55 yuan (about $7.5), half price for students, and free for seniors aged 60 and above. No additional tickets are needed to see all giant panda exhibition areas. There is no need to spend money on the sightseeing shuttle. Walking around the park is more enjoyable.

Nopeat faktat: Every day, over 100 giant pandas live here, from newborn pink cubs to full-grown adults. It is also the world's largest giant panda breeding research institution, having successfully bred more than 300 giant pandas to date.

Kohokohdat: Early morning is the most magical time here. Panda cubs a few months old make yelping sounds like puppies in their nursery boxes, and the keepers hold a group feeding ceremony called "Panda Kindergarten." Watching a dozen furry baby pandas line up to drink milk is a happiness that simply melts your heart.

Between 9 AM and 10 AM is the collective feeding time for giant pandas. The crisp sound of bamboo being chewed and the pandas' adorable eating expressions make for excellent photo and video material.
Wear comfortable flat shoes. The park covers an area of 100 hectares and the walking paths have considerable elevation changes.
The Moon Nursery and Sun Nursery are the best spots to see panda cubs. It is recommended to head straight to these two areas after the park opens.
Avoid visiting on weekends and holidays. The number of visitors on weekday mornings can be reduced by about 70%, making for a completely different experience.
