Faits rapides: Plus de 50 hectares de jardin botanique abritent l'une des plus grandes collections de palmiers d'Australie, avec plus de 1 000 espèces différentes. La Forêt de Verre, une structure exceptionnelle entièrement construite en verre et en acier, atteint 27 mètres de hauteur et contient des plantes des régions arides du monde.
Points forts: Le jardin possède un baobab géant de plus de 150 ans pesant plus de 20 tonnes, rapporté d'Afrique du Sud. Un autre petit secret : l'arrière de la Forêt de Verre crée un effet arc-en-ciel sur les murs intérieurs lorsque le soleil traverse les vitres texturées, et les visiteurs avertis viennent spécialement l'après-midi pour l'observer.

- Comfortable walking shoes are essential; the paths are long and you will walk more than expected.
