Points forts: Slip into the maze of alleys barely two metres wide and you can still hear elders calling recipes by name, like chudu and kutabs, as the scent of wood-fired lavash and coriander hangs in the air. At dusk an old superstition turns stone steps into a conversation: locals drop a peeled pomegranate seed into a tiny crevice and whisper a wish, a ritual claimed by some families for over four generations.
