Faits rapides: Avec 70 dômes et une dizaine de minarets, cette mosquée est unique dans tout le Bangladesh. Elle est construite en terre cuite et en briques faites à la main, et chaque dôme a un motif décoratif différent.
Points forts: Lorsque vous vous tenez sous le dôme central et levez les yeux, vous voyez qu'aucun des 70 dômes n'est identique : chacun a son propre motif géométrique dessiné à la main. Les artisans locaux ont intégré plus de 25 motifs islamiques différents directement dans la brique, sans utiliser une seule goutte de peinture.

- Wear long sleeves and pants out of respect, and bring a scarf to cover your head.
- The best photos are taken from the southeastern corner of the courtyard, where most of the domes are visible at once.
- Be sure to take off your shoes before entering and leave them in the designated area, not on the stairs.
- If you want peace and quiet, come on weekdays when there are no worshippers coming to pray.
