Faits rapides: La place pavée abrite l'hôtel de ville d'Anvers depuis les années 1560, et sa fontaine Brabo ornée raconte la légende d'un géant dont la main tranchée a donné son nom à la ville. Les maisons des guildes bordant la place affichent des façades dorées, chacune représentant un métier médiéval différent.
