Le parc sert de retraite paisible de quartier où les habitants viennent lire, pique-niquer et échapper à la chaleur estivale sous des platanes centenaires.
Points forts: Deux des ânes du parc ont été sauvés d'un village voisin et disposent désormais de leur propre corral ombragé où les enfants peuvent les caresser et leur offrir des carottes. Les soirs d'été, le bruit des pièces d'échecs des habitants âgés qui cliquent sur les tables en pierre se mêle aux rires des familles allongées sur leurs couvertures de pique-nique.
