Faits rapides: Le sentier suit le chenal d'eau de fonte du glacier des Bossons, descendant de plus de 800 mètres de dénivelé à travers la forêt alpine. Les randonneurs peuvent entendre le glacier craquer et grincer tandis qu'il se déplace lentement, avec des blocs de glace qui se détachent occasionnellement dans la rivière en contrebas.
Points forts: Au pied de la cascade, l'eau s'écrase avec une telle force que le sol tremble littéralement sous vos pieds, et les embruns peuvent vous tremper à 50 mètres de distance. Le grondement est si intense qu'il faut crier pour se faire entendre, donnant l'impression de se tenir au cœur d'un orage.

- Wear waterproof shoes and a rain jacket: the mist from the falls can soak you from 50 meters away even on a sunny day.
- Bring binoculars to spot climbers on the Bossons Glacier above the falls, a popular training ground for aspiring mountaineers.
- Visit after a few days of hot weather for the most dramatic water flow, as the glacier releases more meltwater.
- Skip the main viewing platform and follow the trail 100 meters further downstream for a quieter picnic spot with a full view of the cascade.
