Faits rapides: Spread across seven themed greenhouses, this park shelters over 2,500 plant species from five continents across 3.5 acres. A 20-meter waterfall cascades through the Tropical Greenhouse while parrots and turtles roam freely among the foliage.
Points forts: The Desert Greenhouse houses a collection of cacti that includes a 150-year-old specimen nearly 10 meters tall, shipped from Mexico in the 1980s. On weekday mornings, you can watch gardeners hand-pollinate rare tropical flowers using paintbrushes, a delicate process that keeps endangered species blooming year after year.
