Faits rapides: Environ 450 magasins et cafés s'étendent le long de la rue de 1,6 kilomètre, ce qui en fait le cœur commercial de Tel Aviv. Sa partie nord a été conçue comme une rue à quatre voies avec un îlot central, une solution urbanistique rare pour l'époque de sa construction.
Points forts: Au sommet de la rue se trouve une célèbre fontaine d'eau et de lumière, connue sous le nom de « Crème et Caramel », qui est la seule fontaine au monde à allumer ses lumières chaque soir à 20h00 avec un spectacle chorégraphique synchronisé avec la musique. Pendant l'été, les habitants locaux apportent des chaises et s'assoient autour pendant des heures, la transformant en une scène sociale improvisée.
