Faits rapides: Un grand fort avec des murs de 280 mètres, point de défense clé contre les attaques ottomanes. Il est situé sur la côte est avec vue sur la mer Méditerranée et Malte.
Points forts: Les tunnels souterrains et les bunkers avec leurs canons et trappes d'origine sont encore préservés et peuvent être visités. En excellent état, ce fort est un artefact historique national avec un style architectural unique révélant la stratégie militaire du XIXe siècle.
