À propos
Faits rapides: A glowing green rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of the city, paired with an array of hands-on science experiments that make learning tactile and fun. Over 140 interactive exhibits cover everything from physics to biology, inviting curiosity through playful experimentation and immersive discoveries.
Points forts: Visitors can climb onto the museum's massive green copper roof, which is shaped like a giant ship's hull and offers stunning views over the city; the roof also features an oversized golden rivet sculpture called the 'Golden Bolt' that shines brightly in the sunlight. Inside, the museum offers a quirky exhibit where you can experiment with sound by using a giant, interactive 'sonic playground' that lets you create your own music using water droplets and echo chambers.
Conseils d'initiés
- Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, exhibits are hands-on and sometimes messy.
- Arrive at opening or after 16:00 on weekdays to avoid school groups and long lines.
- Head to the rooftop terrace at golden hour for skyline photos facing Central Station.
- Skip peak-demand science shows if short on time, focus on open interactive exhibits instead.
