Points forts: Skirtingai nei daugelyje pasaulio vietų, čia laivai statomi be jokio metalinio karkaso, tik medinių lentų, sujungtų virvėmis, technika. Procesas trunka nuo 9 mėnesių iki 2 metų, o kiekvienas laivas gali gabenti iki 200 tonų krovinio, nors jame nėra nė vieno vinies.

Conseils d'initiés

  • Dress comfortably, but avoid overly short clothing to show respect for the local craftsmen. The best viewpoint is from the pier on the western side, especially during sunset. Do not hesitate to politely ask the craftsmen to take photos, but do not disturb them while they are working. The bench in the shade of olive trees on the shore is a great spot to observe the work without getting in the way.
