The city is quieter than expected, which is nice if you want to avoid tourist crowds. Not much nightlife though, so plan accordingly.
Weather was hot but dry, perfect for day trips. Stayed three nights, which felt just right to explore without rushing.
If you want the best view, head to Rohtas Fort early morning. Ticket booths open late so arriving early avoids long waits and midday heat.
Avoid taxis near the main bazaar, opt for their auto rickshaws instead. They're much cheaper and polite if you negotiate fares before.
Budget-friendly place overall. Public transport is cheap but a bit confusing at first. Few spots for quick wifi access, so prep offline maps.
