Food was hit or miss, found some amazing fresh seafood spots but some places way overpriced. Crowds were kinda intense, especially around sunset.
Spent 3 nights here and felt it was enough to get the essence of the place. The kid in me loved the lagoons, but the crowds sometimes kill the magic.
Skip the big tours and rent a scooter instead if you're confident. Way cheaper and you can explore quiet beaches at your own pace without the crowds.
Bring cash in small bills, ATM fees are killer and not everywhere takes cards. Also, try the local eateries 5 mins away from the main strip for cheaper and tastier meals.
El Nido blew me away with its stunning views and chilled vibe. Weather was perfect for beach days. Would recommend 4 days max unless you love island hopping non-stop.
