Faits rapides: Seulement 15 familles habitent ce village classé à l'UNESCO à l'année, partageant leurs rues avec des moutons et du bétail. Chacune des 45 maisons en rondins construites à la main date du XIXe siècle et suit des méthodes de construction inchangées depuis 500 ans.
Points forts: Trois autels en bois peints d'origine subsistent à l'intérieur du petit clocher de 1870, leurs motifs floraux peints par une bergère locale. Les villageois cuisent encore le pain dans des fours en pierre communs et suspendent le foin pour le sécher aux mêmes rampes en bois sculpté qu'utilisaient leurs arrière-grands-parents.
